María Isabel is in her second pregnancy. She is emotionally calm because she has the support of her partner, which keeps her confident. She is studying to become a teacher. María Isabel does not work yet, so her family does not have enough economic resources at present. “I want to be part of the Kangu Project, and because of Kangu and CIES I can have the best health care and I can be more confident my baby will be healthy.” She is afraid of not having a specialist assist her during her pregnancy and delivery, since she had a complicated first delivery.
