Imelda lives in San Jose Piedra Gorda, Tepejí River, in the state of Hidalgo. This is her second pregnancy. Imelda is currently separated from her husband, and lives with her grandparents with her four year old daughter. She finished high school, and wishes she was prepared to cope with the costs of a safe birth on her own.

- Imelda is over the moon with joy for her baby girl. Despite having to have a C-section, her little girl was born perfectly – weighing 3,600 kg, measuring 52 cm long, and presenting an APGAR score of 9! She thanks all of her donors for their assistance, allowing her to access care during pregnancy, and the C-section she needed.
