Mexfam

La Fundación Mexicana para la Planeación Familiar, A.C., Mexfam, is a civil society organization created 49 years ago. Mexfam has been a pioneer in the field of sexual and reproductive health in Mexico, and its innovative and cutting edge models have been replicated and adapted in several areas of the world. Today Mexfam proudly leads the inclusion and presence of themes in contraception and women’s health, by working with private sector networks and strong partnerships with the public sector. Mexfam, besides being a major player in urban and rural communities across the country, caters to the marginalized. The organization also has successfully influenced public policy in the country, for the betterment of the vulnerable populations it serves.
